Nook was founded by Jenny and David with their expertise inAI for healthcare, drug metabolism, and gastroenterology, united by a vision to blend these fields in transformative ways. With backgrounds spanning big pharma, stock-listed AI for drug discovery, world-leading hospitals, and universities, they saw in merging artificial intelligence with the untapped potential of the gastrointestinal tract to drive innovation.
Our company's name, Nook, is inspired by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek—the "Father of Microbiology"—who discovered hidden microscopic worlds that transformed science. Just as he explored the hidden corners of the human body,we harness AI to delve into the depths of human biology, opening up a new frontier in understanding and improving human health.
